Basic Requirement

• - International driving license : A valid international driving license is required to rent and drive a car in Japan. International driving license should be issued by a certifying body in one of the signatory countries/territories of the Geneva Convention based on the format of the Geneva Convention.Learn more

• - Credit card

Rental Fee

• - Total rate includes rental fee, basic insurance with deductible compensation fee(1080yen/24hours) ,安心 W plan and VAT(8%).
• - Extra charge will be added on One-Way System(when you return your car to a different location)

Payment

• - The estimated rental fee will be required to pay with your credit card before picking up your car at the office
• - The credit card should be issued to the same name with the driver.(Visa, Master, Amex are generally accepted)

Insurance (included in the rental price)

• - Total rate includes the basic insurance with deductible compensation fee
• * Bodily injury: unlimited per person
• * Property damage: unlimited per an accident
• * Car damage: Up to the actual value per accident
• * Physical disability: Up to JPY 30,000,000 per person

NOC(Non Operation Charge) (included in the rental price)

- When the car is returned to the planned location after the accident: 20000yen

- When the car is not returned to the planned location after the accident: 50000yen

Validity of the Insurance

- After the first accident happens, the contract of the insurance loses the effect.

- If you continue renting a car after the accident, it will be considered as a new contract,
so NOC charge occurs again for another accident if it happens.
